From needs analysis to the installation of the system

POLI's approach begins with listening and analysis. Before defining a machine or system, we consider the customer's needs and the setting in which the solution will be installed. When needed, this phase may include a site visit to assess the layout, technical constraints and operating conditions.



Based on the information gathered, the technical department develops a project or customizes existing configurations. This allows automatic packaging machines and logistics systems to be tailored to specific production requirements, rather than limited to a standard proposal. The design takes into account the required functionality and integration with other equipment on the line. 

From requirements analysis to custom design

Every Poli project starts by listening to the customer's needs and, when necessary, carrying out an on-site survey, with the goal of developing a tailor-made solution.

System construction and installation

Once the design phase is complete, Poli manufactures the machinery and oversees installation directly at the customer's facility, managing the process through to operational start-up.

From analysis to implementation

Once the solution has been defined, the project moves into production. POLI oversees the construction of the equipment directly and coordinates the work required for installation and commissioning at the customer's premises.

This approach ensures continuity between what is specified during the design phase and what is actually built. Close coordination between design and production also makes it possible to refine the machine's construction and functionality during development, keeping the project aligned with its intended application.

The company manufactures both individual machines and systems made up of multiple coordinated components. Depending on the project, solutions may include bundling, strapping, taping, conveying and product handling throughout the production process. 

Packaging, Logistics, and Material Handling Solutions

POLI’s industry experience spans multiple stages of product handling. Its range includes bundle tying machines, pallet strapping machines, conveyor belts, roller conveyors, goods lifts and other applications for material handling and workflow organization.

The automatic packaging machines can be developed as standalone units or integrated into more complex systems, depending on the plant layout and the customer’s needs. Material handling solutions can also be configured to suit product dimensions, routes, product types and available space.

The design objective is to create a solution suited to the actual process in which it will operate, maintaining a functional relationship between the machine, the line and the production environment.

Design and Customization

Customisation is central to POLI’s approach. Production line requirements can vary depending on the product being handled, available space, packaging methods and the configuration of equipment already in place.

For this reason, each project is developed by assessing the specific requirements of the application. In some cases, adapting an existing configuration may be sufficient; in others, a bespoke solution is needed.

This approach makes it possible to handle both the manufacture of individual machines and the development of integrated packaging and logistics systems, maintaining a direct connection between production requirements and the technical solution.
