POLI designs and manufactures material handling systems for handling products within production lines, packaging departments, logistics areas, and shipping processes. Solutions may include roller conveyors, belt conveyors, and various devices for transferring, diverting, and managing products along the line.

Each project is assessed according to the customer’s operational requirements, available space and the layout of the production line where the system will be installed. 

Industrial transport and material handling solutions

Intralogistics connect different stages of the production and logistics process. POLI develops bespoke systems and solutions for transferring boxes, parcels, products and pallets, integrating multiple components into the same line when required.

Design begins with an analysis of the specific application. Roller conveyors can be sized according to the expected load, while belts and other systems are configured to meet customer requirements.

Gravity roller conveyors

Gravity roller conveyors provide a solution for transferring and handling products along designated routes. POLI documents the production of gravity roller conveyors with ball transfers, as well as custom-designed solutions tailored to the system's requirements.

The system can be sized according to the load it will handle and the specific project's requirements.

Roller conveyors can therefore be integrated into more complex lines or used in dedicated areas for handling and transferring goods.

Powered Roller Conveyors

The powered roller conveyors make it possible to control product movement along a line and can be integrated with other material handling equipment.

POLI’s documented applications include powered roller conveyors with 90° side transfer, used to change direction and feed products into a production or logistics flow. 

The configuration and layout are assessed according to the line and the project’s operational requirements.

Divertors

The diverters can be included in material handling projects when the flow needs to be directed to different routes or areas of the line.

The configuration is defined according to the plant layout and how the products need to be transferred. The design goal is to integrate the equipment in a way that fits the overall route and the other conveying systems in place., conveying and handling products throughout the production process. 

Shuttle carts

Shuttle systems shuttles are one of the solutions that can be considered when designing systems for internal material handling. 

Their integration should be planned based on the system layout, the areas to be connected and the characteristics of the products being transferred.

Pallet Loader

POLI creates solutions for pallet handling. Those already documented include depalletising units for feeding palletisers, which can be integrated into more complex handling systems. 

The system configuration is assessed in relation to operating methods and line organisation, with the aim of properly coordinating pallet handling with the other stages of production.

Conveyor belts

C onveyor belts connect different points along the line and are among the components POLI uses in its logistics and material handling systems.

The company documents belts made in various sizes to meet customer requirements, as well as acetal belts for transporting boxes and pallets and acetal curves designed for transferring boxes. 

These systems can be developed as standalone units or coordinated with roller conveyors and other equipment as part of a larger installation.

Pantographs

The pantographs can be included in the handling solutions section when a project requires a specific configuration for managing products and connecting different stages of the operation.

Dimensions, operating methods and integration should be defined based on the actual application. This section should therefore pair images of POLI installations with a specification sheet listing only the technical features that are actually available.

Turntables

The turntables can complement a materials handling system in projects where product orientation or routing within the line needs to be managed.

The configuration should be selected based on the application, product characteristics and facility layout. The new website should showcase real examples from POLI and list only dimensions and specifications confirmed by technical documentation.
